We start each class with a warm up.  Generally we like to keep our warm up the same across the term so that students become familiar with it.  It acts as a cue for students to focus and get ready for class.   Warm ups should cover (usually in this order):
  • Movement to music
  • Posture 
  • Breath
  • Articulation 
  • Projection
  • Resonance through characterisation
  • Focus
