A Student Refuses to Join In

Students refuse to participate for a range of reasons. In our experience, it’s usually because they feel like they don’t know what they’re doing, or something about the activity scares them. Sometimes the opposite is true and the class is too easy for them and they are bored!

What not to do:

• Don’t let kids who are not booked in participate
• Don’t let a child come two weeks in a row (parent or not!) if they’re not booked in by the time the next class rolls around it usually means they have been ignoring our calls!
